Human Resource Development Training Assistant

Start date: Negotiable
Shift: Negotiable
Hourly Wage: Negotiable

This position provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resource Development. HRD provides training and development services for university employees. This includes stand-up training, consulting work, providing online training, and running the university wellness program.

Duties for this position include:

 Scheduling training events on the HRD website and and maintaining the training


 Distributing surveys to customers, collecting the feedback, and compiling reports on

effectiveness of the services provided

 Updating the HRD website content

 Posting on HRD social media accounts and other marketing

 Providing research support for training events

 Preparing and updating presentations

 Ordering and tracking inventory and food

 Collecting receipts and compiling monthly budget and expense reports

 Compiling monthly newsletter and monthly training report

 Collecting reimbursements for employee personal expenses

 Handling some walk-in traffic

 Event planning and setup

 A variety of organization and training projects

 Other administrative duties

Knowledge, abilities, and skills that would be useful:

 Well-organized an attention to detail

 Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher)

 Familiarity with social media

 Being a self-starter who is good with prioritization and deadlines

 Providing excellent customer service
