Human Resource Competency Study Project Assistant



DESCRIPTION
For over 25 years, the Human Resource Competency Study has studied the knowledge and abilities necessary for successful HR professionals and HR departments, as these have evolved over time. For the 2015 study, HRCS is partnering with leading HR organizations in several countries; as such, working with the survey will help you build contacts with professionals worldwide.

Results from this survey have helped HR professionals learn what skills they should focus on developing, and has helped HR departments learn how to operate more efficiently. The results of the study have also predicted changes in the HR industry itself, by highlighting skills and knowledge that have become increasingly necessary with the passing of time. Your involvement with the study may give you the best exposure possible to changes happening in the HR profession, and in changes in HR throughout the world.

As an assistant for the Human Resource Competency Study, you will have the following opportunities:
*Work alongside world leaders in HR to study what competencies in HR professionals have the most impact on the success of an organization.
*Assist in refining competency surveys.
*Correspond with international HR organizations regarding the survey process and tools.
*Train organizational representatives to use the survey website.
*Respond to organizations or individuals with questions about the survey.
*Assist in designing reports for participants and organizations.

The position will require 15 to 20 hours per week; your schedule can be adapted to work around classes.

$11/hour or more depending on experience
QUALIFICATIONS
*Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
*Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
*Knowledge of general office procedures, such as copying, faxing, filing, and shredding.
*Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes.
*Flexible and adaptable to change.
