HR Generalist

Category : Human Resources
Location/City : UT - Pleasant Grove

Ever try to herd cats? It's harder than it looks. The cats are portable, but less than compliant. They've got 1) claws, 2) teeth and 3) a nasty disposition towards humans they don't trust. Our HR Business Partner faces the two out of three of the same challenges • we'll let you figure out which two. As the HR Generalist, you will provide functional expertise in all areas of Human Resource Management, including but not limited to: turn-over and retention, employee relations, benefits, payroll support, EEO, FMLA, regulatory compliance, coaching and other miscellaneous Human Resource functions.

5 Things You Can't Find in the HR Manual

It will go better if: You don't tase the employees. A simple memo or disciplinary record should suffice.

If this company was a cocktail, it would be: Jack Daniels (or insert your whiskey here), straight up. Why wait for results when you can have them sooner rather than later?

How to tell if you're kicking it after 90 days: The movers and shakers at our client text and IM you more than they email you, which means they've figured out what communication method you use as your "bat phone" • and they're using it. Which means you're in.

This game is all the training you'll ever need: Tetras. Think of all the bullets below as the falling blocks. Start systematically stacking now and earn yourself a High Score.

Don't apply if you can't: Sing every word of Bohemian Rhapsody. We take our team building pretty seriously. This is an absolute non-negotiable.
