Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will develope and maintain business partnership with Provo Contact Center Leadership, work closely with the HR Manager on the day-to-day administration of policies & programs which could include some or all of the following: recruiting, comp & benefits, rewards & recognition, employee relations, HRIS and other duties as assigned: % of time Responsibilities 10% Work closely with HR Director on employee relations issues for Region as assigned. 35% Data management :
• AAP/EEO, SOX testing data requests, assist with Turnover/Headcount reporting • Assisting in gathering of benchmark data for policies when needed.
• Immigration / I-9 Processing
• DOL quarterly compensation survey 5% Responsible for managing the company relocation program; manage 3rd party vendor relationship, survey overall customer satisfaction, recommend changes, enhancements and cost efficiencies. 5% Manage New Hire Orientation for all HQ employees. Responsible for continually improving and enhancing the on-boarding process. Follow up 3 month/6 month with new hires 5% Recruitment coordination 25% Benefit/Compensation tasks as requested. (i.e., assistance with LTD, STD and FMLA policy administration). 5% Provides Corp. HR with assessments of workplace environment and recommendations for proactive workplace initiatives 15% Other ad-hoc projects as needed Kind and length of experience:
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of HR experience • A solid working knowledge of state and federal laws to include FMLA, ADA and wage and hour • Employee Relations: Knows how to interpret most HR policies and can use management manual to reach conclusions. Helps manager/associate identify problems; asks necessary questions to reveal all related issues; relates HR policy accurately & helps manager/associate understand how policy applies.
• Successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, communications, time management, change management, decision making, presentation and organizational skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, embrace and foster change, problem solve, multi-task and thrive on variety.
