Canvas is the LMS tool that makes teaching and learning easier. It’s a powerful new way to, well, change the world (ok the world of education). Today we have over 600 universities, colleges, and school districts--and we're still growing. Fast. Not bad for a product launched in 2011. This position will work closely with our Professional Development Coordinator to assist in building out some ongoing professional development projects for our Sales department. These will include: evaluating, updating and developing sales training courses, updating and maintaining knowledge resources and designing and developing demo courses. This is a paid internship that will last approximately three months at 40 hours per week. What you will be doing: Evaluating knowledge gaps, team needs, and outcomes for sales team. Evaluating assessments of outcomes for training experiences. Creating activities, materials, and media to support outcomes. Crafting lesson plans to guide supervisors in evaluating team progress. Creating and revising demo course sites in Canvas using original materials and OER. Organizing and maintaining information on internal knowledge bases.  
Here’s what you will need to know/have: Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, specifically Canvas Digital document design (clarity of writing, readability, typography) Informal learning and Knowledge Management Blended learning Multimedia design or cognitive load theory Just-In-Time learning And Some Perks… Fully stocked break room, Catering once a week, MacBook Pro, "Lifty" desks, Casual dress code.
