Job Title:  Text Analytics Specialist 

Place: Murray, Utah

Mindshare Technologies, has an immediate opening for an Analytics Specialist. Mindshare provides real-time customer phone and web surveys with actionable reporting to help companies understand, monitor, and improve their customer’s experiences. Individual will be responsible for the implementation of Mindshare’s text analytics solutions for major clients across a variety of industries and organizations.
  • Work with clients to design text analytics solutions for enterprise feedback.
  • Manage deliverables and priorities to ensure timely delivery of work product.
  • Construct key term dictionaries and linguistic rules which combine to provide highly actionable business insights from text.
  • Use cutting edge analytics technology to identify key business insights referenced in large amounts of text.
  • Prepare and present analytics findings to client management.
  • Analytical Skills - Candidate must have strong background and/or skills in analytics, data modeling and manipulation, and management reporting. Past experience as data analyst beneficial.
  • Technical Abilities - Position requires use of sophisticated rules-building software (IBM LanguageWare, an Eclipse-based tool.) Previous experience with these platforms a plus. Applicant must be adept at learning and mastering new software-based systems and processes.
  • Conceptual Modeling - Applicant must be strong in building, organizing, and maintaining conceptual framework and in anticipating challenges prior to encountering them. Previous management consulting ideal.
  • Attention to Detail – Complexity of models and processes requires that candidate be meticulous and detailoriented. Significant time is required in quality assurance testing, etc.
  • Multi-tasking, Prioritization - Ability to manage multiple complex implementations/tasks and prioritize work to meet timelines with efficiency required.
  • Maturity and Ownership - Job involves interaction with managers in key positions in large organizations. Applicant must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and respond well in challenging situations. Applicant must be a self-starter and require minimal management oversight.
  • Computer Skills – Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Previous experience with IBM Content Analytics (ICA) and ICA Studio and/or Eclipse a plus
