Human Resources Administrator - Sirsi Dynix (Lehi, UT)


Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking to start or build a career in Human Resources. As the Human Resources Administrator, you will, under the guidance of the Global HR Manager, assist with planning, development, and administration for the company’s Training and Development and Performance Management programs. You will also be responsible for the administration and compliance of the Company’s HIPAA program. In addition, you will be a primary resource for employees worldwide and will respond to questions regarding Company policies, benefits, and other HR-related areas.
Job Status: Full-Time
Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide support to the HR Manager with employee benefit program, including:
    • Answer routine questions regarding benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA/LPFSA, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, short/long term disability, Employee Assistance Program
    • Reconcile and process monthly premium statements for payment
    • Coordinate the transfer of data to vendors, as needed
  2. Assist with the new hire process, including:
    • Coordinate with appropriate parties to schedule New Hire Orientation
    • Completion of New Hire onboarding packet: background/drug screen requests, Form I-9, E-VERIFY and any other necessary forms
    • Create necessary internal and external accounts for employees
  3. Provide support to the HR Manager with Training and Development program, including:
    • Assist managers with creating training calendars
    • Create training courses as needed
    • Assist with the development and implementation of surveys
    • Revise existing courses based on assessment results, employee performance, and changes in policy or procedures
    • Create/disable and keep current employee accounts in the  Learning Management system
    • Perform follow up to ensure that training is completed  in a timely and accurate manner
  4. Provide support to the HR Manager with Performance Management, including:
    • Create/disable and keep current employee accounts
    • Generate daily status update reports
    • Create training courses as needed
    • Answer routine questions regarding the process and online system
    • Generate ad-hoc reports as needed
  5. Answer routine questions and counsel employees regarding benefits, personnel policies and procedures. Responds to routine inquiries of people from outside the company.
  6. Generate periodic and special reports for HR management.
  7. Assist with employee recognition program.
  8. Assists members of the Human Resources team with other administrative duties as needed in the areas of benefits, recruitment, training, department administration, event planning, etc.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize projects, and meet established deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  • General knowledge of HIPAA regulation preferred
  • Knowledge of personnel practices preferred
  • HRIS experience preferred
Education and Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field; BS/BA in Human Resources Management or Business preferred
  • 12+ months previous administrative experience required; this can be a combination of internship and regular employment experience
  • 6+ months of experience in Human Resources environment preferred
