TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION: Ogden, Utah
ORGANIZATION: Compass Minerals
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Representative
Job Status: Exempt
Summary: This position is responsible for providing Human Resources services and local payroll support for a facility with guidance from Corporate Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide local Human Resources services .e.g., employee relations, employment, etc.
- Provide recruitment/interview for all Exempt and Non-Exempt positions.
- Provide support in the implementation of HR initiatives
- Maintain updated Job Descriptions for facility.
- Assist employees with benefit questions or other inquiries.
- Conduct New-Hire Orientation.
- Conduct and assists with a variety of employee meetings e.g., benefits, orientation, various communication meetings, etc.
- Create reports on HR related metrics (Labor, Attendance, New Hire, etc...)
- Be responsible as a backup for Ogden payroll.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
2+ years HR experience required,
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience preferred.
