HR Assistant at Seven Peaks Waterpark

Human Resources Assistant (Provo)


Seven Peaks Waterpark is looking for an organized, outgoing individual for their seasonal Human Resources Assistant at the Provo Waterpark. This position begins full-time right away and is a seasonal position, so the last day of work is September 30th.

Join our fantastic HR team to help us with recruiting/hiring, training, onboarding, payroll assistance, etc. for Seven Peaks Waterpark

No prior experience necessary!


1. Assists new hires with employee paperwork, training on company policies, disbursing/tracking uniforms, organizes and maintains personnel paperwork, ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local guidelines, etc.
2. Tracks and processes all time adjustments.
3. Tracks and processes shift pay on a daily basis to ensure that employees are clocking in and out appropriately according to the approved schedule.
4. Gathers, approves, and submits payroll items every other week for Payroll Specialist.
5. Processes end-of-employment information and ensures that former employee accounts are closed down.
6. Writes bi-weekly employee newsletter The Peaks Pinnacle.
7. Advertises for waterpark positions as needed.
8. Assists with policy compliance as needed.
9. Assists with closing the waterparks down with rehire lists, bonus calculations, uniform collection, etc.


• Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Point Of Sale systems is a plus.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in operating office and technological equipment and software.
• Skill in simple mathematical calculations using both calculators and spreadsheets.
• Skill in focusing on small details; being detail-oriented.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with others; outgoing and friendly.
• Ability to work independently and meet managerial goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines when necessary.

Wage: $7.25 hourly with a $1/hr bonus for seasonal hours worked
