HR Intern with OrangeSoda (American Fork, UT)

Job Function: 
Human Resources

SUMMARY: Reports to the Staffing Manger of People Services. This position will be responsible for administrative support for the recruitment team. Coordinate various projects, assignments, and meetings. Be a strong role model and demonstrate the OrangeSoda culture.

Assist with the recruiting process: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews
Screen candidates
Collect necessary paperwork from potential candidates
Assist with the pre-hire process/on-boarding of new employees
Assist with applicant tracking
Communication liaison between candidates, Staffing Manager and hiring manager
Maintain filing for HR related documents
Other duties as assigned
Provide administrative support to HR Managers and HR Coordinator


Possession of strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be polite and courteous
The ability to handle confidential information
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn and grow

Currently attending college or recently completed applicable degree
Some Recruiting experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in verbal and written English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Individuals will regularly spend the majority of the day sitting in an office chair, ergonomically viewing a computer screen, typing on a keyboard, and operating a mouse. Responsibilities may require walking within the office to utilize administrative materials and to coordinate with co-workers. This position will require some reaching or lifting as necessary to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. Individual must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Frequent inbound and outbound telephone communication is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The office contains ambient room temperatures, moderate noise levels, overhead lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
