Over the course of a summer session, students are encouraged to participate in social and recreational activities, many of which are organized by the college relations department.  Mentors and department co-workers enjoy spending time with students at many of the activities.

What You´ll Do as an Intern
  • Provide administrative support to the Internship Program Coordinator, including assistance with Intern Orientation, paperwork, correspondence, and all internal and external activities.
  • Interface with Corporate Communications and management to organize various tours, meetings and training sessions for the summer interns.
  • Provide assistant to Human Resources Business Partners  with employee relations related tasks
  • Support Talent Acquisition and other Human Resources departments with various projects as assigned. 

What You´ll Need
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, computer and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
  • Working knowledge of the Internet and MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Office 2007 experience is preferred.

SUMMARY: Reports to the Staffing Manger of People Services. This position will be responsible for administrative support for the recruitment team. Coordinate various projects, assignments, and meetings. Be a strong role model and demonstrate the OrangeSoda culture.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Individuals will regularly spend the majority of the day sitting in an office chair, ergonomically viewing a computer screen, typing on a keyboard, and operating a mouse. Responsibilities may require walking within the office to utilize administrative materials and to coordinate with co-workers. This position will require some reaching or lifting as necessary to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. Individual must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Frequent inbound and outbound telephone communication is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The office contains ambient room temperatures, moderate noise levels, overhead lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

This person will be responsible for designing and developing sales enablement training courses, and delivering the training in both classroom and online environments - in the context of new team launches, new-hire training, and on-going job skill optimization. The Corporate Trainer will work under the Training Director and will work in partnership with training team members, as well as sales team managers, to ensure training is impactful in meeting business needs, and is aligned to MarketStar’s training methodologies and standards.

  • Develop, implement, and/or modify training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness to assigned teams and Business Unit

  • Assess the effectiveness (impact) of training; report results to relevant stakeholders, formulate recommendations for improving training impact based on performance data as well as ground-level observations.
  • Assist in developing, customizing, and driving new-hire job skill and knowledge assessment in the context of new-hire on-boarding programs and on-going training plans within particular teams.
  • Facilitate and support new team launches - including developing materials, delivering training, and coordinating training activities with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop other training and performance support materials on an as-needed basis.

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent required
  • At least 3-4 years professional experience developing and delivering training in a sales environment
  • 2-3 years instructional design experience (classroom as well as on-line synchronous and asynchronous delivery)
  • Substantial computer technology experience – particularly as it relates to rapid e-learning development (Articulate Suite products, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office products); direct experience with LMSs and portals required
  • Graphical design experience required, including the ability to create visually appealing graphics that communicate complex ideas in an easy-to-understand fashion
  • Business results oriented (Interested in understanding and monitoring performance data, adjusting training to respond to performance outcomes, and lifting performance in a measurable way)
  • Demonstrated sales skill training (with dynamic, compelling presentation skills
  • Demonstrated skill using rapid e-learning development tools (experience with Articulate products in particular), Adobe graphical and media design products, and Microsoft business application
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts and processes in easy-to-understand language
