Who Can Apply:
Full-time college students who meet the qualifications and are seeking a Summer 2013 Human Resources Internship with Caterpillar Inc.
Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship. If transferring from a two-year institution, student must have completed 12 semester hours at the four-year university prior to the start of the internship.
This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting 12 weeks.

HR interns at Caterpillar perform the same entry-level tasks as our new full-time hires. This may include, but is not limited to, entry-level tasks in recruiting, talent management, communications, learning, compensation and benefits, succession management and related human resources disciplines. We work with our interns and their managers before, during and after the internship to ensure that every intern gains the appropriate professional and personal growth necessary to be successful in the corporate environment. Our interns are placed in a variety of Caterpillar Business units and locations.
