Staffing Leader with OrangeSoda (American Fork, UT)


 Description

The Staffing Leader has an opportunity to define OrangeSoda's presence as a premier Utah employer. The Staffing Leader will report to the Director of Human Resources.  This position will manage all aspects of the staffing life-cycle for all open positions at OrangeSoda, while acting as an integral part of the team and assisting in a number of Human Resource duties.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
§  Manage the complete pre-hire process for each open position, including job posting, screening, selecting, recruiting, interviewing, background checking and offer letter delivery
§  Source and recruit a variety of technical and non-technical skill sets
§  Maintain an accurate and current job description library in compliance with federal and state laws
§  Create, update and monitor policies and procedures related to staffing
§  Train managers on effective and legal hiring practices, staffing policies and procedures
§  Assist in creating and implementing an effective on-boarding program for new employees
§  Create strategic sourcing plans for each position identified in annual headcount growth plan
§  Strategically source active and passive candidates from multiple sources, including internet, college/university, advertisements, databases, etc
§  Handle a high-volume recruiting environment while efficiently and effectively filling open positions
§  Assist hiring managers with interviewing needs
§  Maintain candidate information in Applicant Tracking System
§  Attend local career fairs and create employment brand awareness within community
§  Track employee turnover, employee tenure, headcount statistics, and staffing trends on a monthly basis
§  Generates requested recurring reports, or any reports requested by management
§  Assists Director of HR with various research projects and/or special projects
§  Continued learning in the area of Human Resources policies, processes, as well as state and federal labor laws

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
§  Excellent communication, presentation, time management, decision making, organizational, and problem solving skills
§  Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
§  Advanced internet search skills
§  Excellent knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures
§  Understanding and experience with HRIS software with preferred knowledge of Paychex, SAP and Taleo
§  Knowledge of applicable labor laws, including EEO and ADA
§  The ability to handle confidential information
§  Some event planning and coordination

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
§  Associates degree, or work experience equivalent
§  Minimum two years of recruiting experience with proven record of ability to source quality candidates
§  Proficient experience in MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, and Internet tools desired

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Individuals will regularly spend the majority of the day sitting in an office chair, ergonomically viewing a computer screen, typing on a keyboard, and operating a mouse.  Responsibilities may require walking within the office to utilize administrative materials and to coordinate with co-workers. This position will require some reaching or lifting as necessary to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required.  Individual must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.  Frequent inbound and outbound telephone communication is required. Individual will be required to sit, stand and operate employer career fans several times a year.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The office contains ambient room temperatures, moderate noise levels, overhead lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
