Human Resources Specialist with RWI Transportation (Ft. Thomas, KY)


 Responsibilities:
·      Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers by exceeding their expectations
·      Work with assigned departments and HR Director to develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet current and anticipated needs
·      Develop advertising strategies and recruitment sources to identify and recruit qualified candidates
·      Recruit and screen applicants for managerial, technical, professional and support positions
·      Perform duties related to employee relations
·      Initiate and coordinate all required documentation to complete the employment process including all EEO related documentation
·      Guide supervisors and managers in the application of the corrective action process
·      Access training and development needs within assigned departments and develop recommendations to meet those needs
·      Coordinate training programs individually or as part of training team
·      Conduct training programs including but not limited to new employee orientation, supervisory training, and staff skill development
·      Explain the salary determination process to supervisors and managers to effectively allocate dollars based on individual and organizational performance
·      Responsible for the recruitment, selection and staffing function to ensure department needs and all legal requirements are met
·      Assist HR staff and hiring supervisors in the employment process by developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention techniques
·      Responsible for maintaining HR function spreadsheets and maintaining data integrity
·      Participate in company-wide Human Resource projects or other roles as assigned or required

Requirements:
·      BA/BS preferably in Human Resources or related discipline
·      1+ years of recruiting experience
·      Proven strong technical ability with software used by department
·      Analytical and project management skills
·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, consulting and leadership skills, innovative and flexible
