HR Supervisor with West Liberty Foods (Tremonton, UT)



POSITION SUMMARY
 The purpose of this position is to provide support to the HR Supervisor and HR Manager; delivering Human Resources services and policies, as well as to assist team members with any type of questions and concerns. The HR Specialist will support the department with Unemployment Claims, Payroll, FMLA, Personal Leaves, Hiring/Termination Processes, Recruiting and assisting employees with basic benefits questions.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Process unemployment claims/appeals and participates in UI hearings.
  • Administer all leaves of absence documentation and time coding.
  • Administer and maintain the recruitment life cycle for non-exempt position, including (but not limited to): Reviewing applications, conducting interviews, maintaining applicant tracking system, offering positions, maintaining staffing sheets, etc.
  • Process wage garnishments, assignments and tax levies.
  • Examine payroll system data scrub reports and process any corrections.
  • Examine HRIS systems/records and perform audits to ensure accuracy of data/systems.
  • Assist team members with issues and inquiries.
  • Record data in HRIS system as needed to update/correct team member records.
  • Data input of team member records for new hires and termination.
  • Other duties as assigned to support HR Supervisor and HR Manager.

Education : Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) preferred
Experience : Two to four years related or equivalent experience preferred
Computer Skills :  MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT), HRIS Systems (Ceridian, Kronos) Internet

Language:  Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
