HRD Position with ISHR in SLC, UT

            Duties and Responsibilities:
§  Develop and administer various human resource plans and procedures for all clients and ISHR.
§  Plan, organize, and control all activities of the department. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
§  Implement and update compliance resources.
§  Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbooks on policies and procedures internally and for all clients.
§  Perform benefits administration to include orientation, change reporting, terminations, bill reconciliation and COBRA administration.
§  Files EEO-1 annually; maintain other records, reports, and logs.
§  Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
§  Employee counseling, performance evaluations, and performance management recommendations.
§  Recommend new policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of company and clients.
§  Workers Compensation claims administration. Risk management, maintain annual OSHA reporting and recommendations on cost control to clients.
§  Create and present trainings.
§  Conduct new client implementation training.
§  Perform other tasks as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of multi-state labor laws preferred
Provide functional guidance for administrative support needs
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. A bachelor's degree and one (1) year Human Resources experience, OR
2. (5) years related experience.
4. Any appropriate combination of education and experience
5. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
