Entry Level HR Position with Myriad Genetics in SLC, UT





Reports to:
Generalist, Human Resources
Responsible for responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies. Provides assistance with disability, health, and life benefits, paid time off, and retirement plans. Prepares appropriate documentation and processes necessary paperwork. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources field.
Responsibilities:
Each employee’s specific job responsibilities are uniquely defined by their individual training plan and assigned duties, but are generally defined as follows:
1.      Oversees National Sales New Hire Orientation and On-Boarding process
2.      Main HR Contact for National Sales employees
3.      Oversees Workers Compensation Practices and Safety Committee Liaison
4.      Provides general benefit support by guiding employees through the benefit enrollment process when qualifying events occur
5.      Reconcile MGIS FSA billing
6.      Provides verbal and written Verification of Employment for all current and past employees
7.      Online system maintenance (i.e., Lincoln Financial Group, COBRA)
8.      General clerical responsibilities including Oracle, WebExtender
9.      Front Desk Receptionist support as needed

Qualifications:
Supporting documentation for the educational and experience requirements are maintained in the employee’s personnel file.
1.      2+ years of progressively responsible HR experience in a fast paced and corporate organization.
2.      Associates Degree preferred
3.      PHR preferred




Skill Set:

Each specific skill may not be utilized to complete each assigned duties, but are generally defined as follows.
1.      Familiarity with general Human Resources concepts
2.      Excellent communication and customer service skills
3.      Knowledge of data processing system related to personnel administration
4.      Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Windows, Outlook
5.      Superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
