We are seeking a summer intern to join our corporate North American HR team in Parsippany, NJ.  Our summer internship runs from May to August 2012.  The intern will be responsible for providing entry level HR Generalist support to our Human Resources Business Partners supporting all North American business functions including: sales, marketing, supply chain, and all shared services.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will assist with day to day generalist HR responsibilities related to RB North America business:

¿     Build solid working relationships with HR Business Partners and actively assist them with the implementation and roll out of special projects, site training and development programs and assistance with the performance management process.
¿     Actively support all administrative work related to internal transfers (international and domestic), assist with recruitment and on-boarding (forms and payroll)
¿     Support projects associated with recruitment, training and compensation and benefits.

Basic Qualifications
¿     Must have a BA/BS in Human Resources Management or another related degree. Pursuing an MS degree preferred.
¿     Some professional human resources experience, preferably from a summer internship or co-op assignment is preferred.
¿     Must be a proactive, results-oriented with a desire to take your career into higher level HR roles.
¿     Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
¿     Must have strong software skills in power point, excel and word.
¿     Must have proven ability to work independently with minimal direction - takes initiative and is proficient at establishing internal relationships.
¿     Proven communication and project management skills.
¿     The ability to relocate domestically (short term) and internationally (long-term) for future career progression.
PREFERRED SKILLS
¿     Experience working within consumer products industry.
