Description:
The successful candidate will work with our Project Management and Consulting teams in analyzing survey and assessment data, and making client recommendations. This individual will work in a position that combines project management, I/O psychology, data analysis, and consulting responsibilities in providing information to our clients to be used in driving personal and organization change. The Assessment Analyst Manager will also develop or select surveys/assessment instruments, track the distribution and collection of surveys and assessments, organize and analyze the data, and generate and distribute findings. This is a position that works with both data and people, and requires skill in working with both on an ongoing basis. Normal business hours (M-F), as well as on an "as-needed" basis in order to accommodate client needs. Minimal travel may also be required. Position is based in Provo, Utah.

Requirements for the position include: . Data Analysis: Strong familiarity with data manipulation and analysis. Strong sense of organization and attention to detail; ability to manage large quantities of data. . I/O Psychology: Background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Research, or similar field is required. . Statistical knowledge: Strong, proven knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis is a must. Familiarity with statistical analysis applications. . Maintain positive client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service and interpersonal skills. . Project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects; administrative skills. . Consulting skills. Ability to understand and present the business implications of data to both internal and external clients, as well as to provide recommendations based on the data. . Strong computer proficiency. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email programs. . Team player. Ability to function well as part of a team and contribute beyond individual responsibilities. . Education. A completed BA/BS degree is required. An advanced is strongly preferred. I/O or Clinical Psychology, Organization Behavior, HR, or similar majors are ideal, but not required.

SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is designed to build a team of highly talented, well-rounded Human Resources (HR) professionals who can think strategically, respond and execute quickly, and lead the future for HR at Travelers. The program is based in our corporate offices in Saint Paul, MN and in Hartford, CT. The employees in the HRLDP rotate through multiple assignments across the HR department over a two-year period, with each rotation lasting approximately eight months. These assignments are designed for program participants to develop and demonstrate their HR technical skills, and to better position them for future leadership positions within the HR organization. Participants rotate through Compensation, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition. Upon completion of the program, Participants are placed in a role based on their performance as well as business need.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Compensation: Design competitive and cost-effective total compensation programs, practices and solutions that support management in leading the creation and maintenance of a high-performance culture at Travelers.

Employee Relations: Develop an understanding of Employee Relations issues, state and federal employment law regulations and corporate HR policies and procedures. May gain exposure to managing all HR activities for an assigned business group. May assist in the development of HR policies and programs by partnering with other HR specialist functions.

Talent Acquisition: Consult with business partners to develop and maintain external recruitment sources for exempt and non-exempt positions. Recruit, interview, assess and place applicants to effectively meet company HR needs.
