The main function of this position is to manage the full cycle recruitment for various staffing needs in a call center environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling interviews, managing the internal transfer process, assisting with prescreening resumes and sourcing candidates, HR interviews, attending job fairs, creating offer documentation, managing background checks and drug testing.

Job Description
  • Assist in pre-screening resumes and scheduling in-house interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain forms and spreadsheets to enhance applicant and employee tracking.
  • Contribute ideas and implement process improvements relating to staffing.
  • Create offers of employment, send out interview and new-hire confirmations, candidate rejection letters, etc.
  • Maintain and post job ads to job boards, local colleges, work source centers, etc.
  • Develop and maintain professional business relationships with outside vendors.
  • Manager background checks and drug testing and administer skills assessment testing for candidates.
  • Other projects as assigned by manager.

Works independently on objectives. Receives very little supervision and is able to schedule priorities independently according to business needs. Ensures that human resources needs are met in a timely manner at all times. Is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and accessibility to the managers and employees of Dish Network.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, or four years of direct experience; and two years related experience and/or training. Knowledge and experience of HR and recruitment/selection techniques preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

Must have solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Acts and possess strong interviewing skills. Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and non-technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or comparable HR certification preferred.
